Add the finely chopped onions too. Grease a thaali with little butter and fill the mixture in the thaali. Fill little water in a cooker, and steam this thaali for 5 – 10mins. Make sure to cover the thaali with a lid before steaming. Switch off the gas and check the Dhoklas with the help of a toothpick. If nothing sticks to the toothpick, your delicious and nutritious Dhoklas are ready to serve! Alternatively you can give a tadka of mustard seeds, jeera and kadipatta in little oil and pour it over the Dhoklas.
